Starter guide
Welcome to the Wytheria Starter Guide
Whilst every player's game style and gear goals are different this guide aims to give a general starting route to help you reach your in-game goals.
Account Creation
To create your account simply type your preferred username and password into the login screen.
For your safety DO NOT use a password used on other websites/ apps.
You can save a max of 3 accounts in the launcher and play a maximum of 3 accounts at one time.
Using multiple accounts at a single boss is against Wytheria Rules however.
Choose the game mode you wish to play.
If a 'Normal' account is selected you can choose between Regular, Medium, and Slowest XP rates.
The slower the XP rate the higher the DR bonus.
Cabbage mode is for new players to test the server, you will have crazy fast XP and a huge +40 Drop Rate Bonus to play with.
However, Cabbage accounts cannot trade, drop, stake, or pk.

New players will spawn at Home (Edgeville Bank) with starter items in their inventory, including a mystery box.
To check potential rewards from any Mystery Box or Chest type ::mbox or see Quest Tab
/ Coin Icon
/ Loot Tables.

Players can use the referral system to gain mystery box's and Drop Rate Bonus rewards.
New players can redeem a free mystery box by typing ::refer (players username who referred you) into the game chat. If you weren't referred by anyone simply type any existing user.
The existing player will receive an in-game message being notified that new player has redeemed the referral bonus and will receive a +0.40 Drop Rate Bonus for the referral.
To get home you can type ::home in chat, use the ctrl-h hot-key, or via the teleport interface.
The teleport interface can be found by clicking any city teleport within the Magic Spell tab
, or the Wytheria Wizard found west of the bank.

Thieving stalls and Box of Health are located outside the north wall of the bank.
Box of Health restores your HP, Prayer, run energy and removes any negative status.
The Well of Goodwill (WOGW) is located south of the bank at the entrance to the Mimic World Boss arena.
Players can contribute a minimum of 1million GP towards 2x Experience, +5 Pest Control Points, and 2x Drop Rate Bonus
50million GP is required to activate any WOGW bonus for 1hour.
When a player logs in a game message will notify of any WOGW bonuses that are currently active along with the time remaining.
You can also click the Quest icon
and then click Wogw to bring this up manually.

Starting Out
This section is aimed at getting you decent mid-tier gear and stats to become Boss ready.

Be sure to ::vote on all 4 websites and type ::voted in-game to claim your prizes.
You can vote every 12 hours and have a chance to receive very good items from the Mystery Box's and Vote Chest.
Voting for all 4 sites will give you +1 bonus vote point. Scroll to the bottom of the
Quest Tab check your Vote Points balance.

All monsters in the game have a chance to drop a Crystal Key(stackable) and Clue-scroll which are great for decent early-game items.
Click on a Clue scroll to simply turn into a Reward Casket. To obtain a Master clue, have an easy, medium, and hard clue in your inventory and speak to Watson at ::shops.
It is recommended that
Ironmen do all clues.
Some items to lookout for are.
- Easy Clues - God robes..
- Medium Clues - Ranger boots, Wizard boots, God cloaks..
- Hard Clues - Robin hood hat, Rune armour and weapons, Black d'hide gear, God d'hide gear, Enchanted robes, Rune pickaxe and Rune axe (for skilling)..
- Master Clues - Dragon scimitar, Dragon dagger, Dragon battleaxe, Dragon mace, Dragon halberd..
The Crystal Chest can be found outside the south wall of the Edgeville Bank

Begin by heading over to ::shops and get yourself some combat gear.
A point to mention is that
Ranged is slightly more powerful in Wytheria. So this is generally the preferred combat style for most players.
For Ironmen I'd recommend starting with
Magic as you can buy runes for cheap from the Ironman Store, but
Melee and
Ranged weapons will come from other sources.
Stock up on food and potions at Fat Tony.
Go to ::train or open the teleport interface to Monsters -> Rock Crabs or Monsters -> Sand Crabs
Train combat here until you're at a comfortable level to begin Easy
Slayer Tasks.
Slayer will be our main route for combat training for a few reasons. The DPS boost from the slayer helm, and slayer keys.
During a
Slayer task monsters have a chance to drop a Slayer Key(stackable) varying from Tier 1-5 based on their combat level.
Use these keys on the Slayer Chest near the Slayer masters at ::home. Clicking the chest will bring up the Loot Table and show potential rewards.
Some stand-out items are Slayer Helms, Whips, Robin Hood Hat, Ranger Boots, Barrows items, Rune Defender, Infinity Robes/ Boots, Dragon Darts/ Arrows, Neitiznot Faceguard, and more.
Get your Tasks from
at the slayer hub at ::home.
You can travel to your tasks via the 'Teleport Interface' if you know the location. These will usually be under Dungeons
Alternatively, you can teleport directly to your task via Enchanted Gem
purchasable from a slayer master.
The cost is 100k per teleport, but free if you have Donator status.
As you level combat remember to scale up your slayer task difficulty accordingly.
Get 43 Prayer on your journey by using all bones from drops, chests, caskets, etc, on the Altar at home.
Non-Irons can buy regular bones from Shop keeper.
Green Dragons at Teleport -> Player Killing -> West Dragons are fairly safe due to only being level 10-15 wilderness. Remember the hotkey ctrl-h home tele if you see a pker.
Work towards
58 Slayer to unlock Cave Horrors in the Rellekka Dungeon Teleport, camp here for a Black Mask if you still need one.
Be sure to imbue the helm when you have the Slayer Points. The imbued helm gives range and mage bonuses.

Then proceed to
65 Slayer for Dust Devils. These are in a multi-combat zone of the Catacombs of Kourend and are the best location to get
99 Ranged (Black chins) and
99 Magic (Ice barrage)
These drop large amounts of Hard Clue Scrolls, Large Coin Bags (a good Money Maker), and Rune Arrows (for ironmen)
Use your best multi-combat ancient magic spell until 99 magic and/ or 750 PVM Points and purchase the Dragon Crossbow from the PVM Store along with the best bolts you can afford at Range Store.
Ironmen can buy Broad Bolts from the Ironman shop keeper for 55gp each.
Now you can decide whether you want Barrows gear or Void/ Elite Void. (Bossing can be done with lower gear but kills may be a little slower.)
- Barrows - Teleport -> Minigames -> Barrows or use ::barrows. 5 of each Barrows brother are located on each hill. Just kill them until they drop the goods. Ironmen with no prayer potions can just tele and use the altar at home.
- Pest Control - Teleport -> Minigames -> Pest control or use ::pc. Use the first boat. There are no monsters within PC, simply kill the portals within the 5-minute time limit. You receive 7 PC points per portal killed, and 5 per game completion. Excluding WOGW Bonus you'll receive a Total 33 PC points per-game.

Once you have Void or Barrows you're ready to check out Gear Progression, Boss Guides, Money Making
Good luck with your goals, have fun!!
Extra Gear Options
This list is of optional yet useful gear which can assist you on your journey.
