This section is aimed at getting you decent mid-tier gear and stats to become Boss ready.
Accounts who choose to start off with Skilling might find Skilling helpful, along with Money Making

There is no right or wrong way to begin leveling up your account. Below are some of the common methods players use.

Begin by heading over to ::shops and get yourself some combat gear.
A point to mention is that Ranged is currently slightly more powerful in Wytheria. So this is generally the preferred combat style for most players.
For Ironmen I'd recommend starting with Magic as you can buy runes for cheap from the Ironman Store, but Melee and Ranged weapons will come from other sources.
Stock up on food and potions at Fat Tony.

OPTION 1
Some players head straight to the Revenant caves and kill the lowest-level monsters.
This is a good method due to the drop-table of the revs, which can be a good early game money maker and great for hunting the Craw's Bow.
The Craws Bow is a very strong weapon (even outside the wilderness) and only requires 60 range to wield. This will greatly speed up training with it's effect bonus in the wilderness
Having the bow on Longrange can get you some fast easy defence levels at the same time. Level 70 defence is a good goal so you can wear Godwars and Barrows armour/
For Ironmen revenants drop Dragon armor and weapons, resources, and noted foods.

OPTION 2
Go to ::train or open the teleport interface to Monsters -> Rock Crabs or Monsters -> Sand Crabs
Train combat here until you're at a comfortable level to begin Easy Slayer Tasks.

Slayer will be our main route for combat training for a few reasons. The DPS boost from the slayer helm, and slayer keys.

During a Slayer task monsters have a chance to drop a Slayer Key(stackable) varying from Tier 1-5 based on their combat level.
Use these keys on the Slayer Chest near the Slayer masters at ::home'. Clicking the chest will bring up the Loot Table and show potential rewards.
Some stand-out items are Slayer Helms, Whips, Robin Hood Hat, Ranger Boots, Barrows items, Rune Defender, Infinity Robes/ Boots, Dragon Darts/ Arrows, Neitiznot Faceguard, and more.

Get your Tasks from or (Wilderness tasks), at the slayer hub at ::home or ::shops::. You can travel to your tasks via the 'Teleport Interface' if you know the location. These will usually be under Dungeons
Alternatively, you can teleport directly to your task via Enchanted Gem purchasable from a slayer master. The cost is 100k per teleport, but free if you have Donator status.
As you level combat remember to scale up your slayer task difficulty accordingly.

Get 43 Prayer on your journey by using all bones from drops, chests, caskets, etc, on the Shrine of Ralos at home, or any donator zone (::DZ, ::LZ, ::OZ) Non-Irons can buy regular bones from Shop keeper.

Green Dragons at Teleport -> Player Killing -> West Dragons are fairly safe due to only being level 10-15 wilderness. Remember the hotkey ctrl-h home tele if you see a pker.

Work towards 58 Slayer to unlock Cave Horrors in the Rellekka Dungeon Teleport, camp here for a Black Mask if you still need one.
Be sure to imbue the helm when you have the Slayer Points. The imbued helm gives range and mage bonuses.

Unlockable from Slayer Master

Then proceed to 65 Slayer for Dust Devils. These are in a multi-combat zone of the Catacombs of Kourend and are the best location to get 99 Ranged (Black chins) and 99 Magic (Ice barrage)
These drop large amounts of Hard Clue Scrolls and Rune Arrows (for ironmen)
Use your best multi-combat ancient magic spell until 99 magic and/ or 750 PVM Points and purchase the Dragon Crossbow from the PVM Store along with the best bolts you can afford at Range Store.
Ironmen can buy Broad Bolts from the Ironman shop keeper for 55gp each.

GETTING ARMOUR
Now you can decide whether you want Barrows gear or Void/ Elite Void. (Bossing can be done with lower gear but kills may be a little slower.)

  • Barrows - Teleport -> Minigames -> Barrows or use ::barrows. 5 of each Barrows brother are located on each hill. Just kill them until they drop the goods. Ironmen with no prayer potions can just tele and use the altar at home.
  • Pest Control - Teleport -> Minigames -> Pest control or use ::pc.

Use the first boat. There are no monsters within PC, simply kill the portals within the 5-minute time limit.
You receive 7 PC points per portal killed, and 5 per game completion. Excluding WOGW Bonus you'll receive a Total 33 PC points per-game.

WHERE TO NEXT
Once you have decent stats and gear you can try a few things.

Good luck with your goals, have fun!!
