Preparation

To start training prayer requires bones. Bones can be obtained from all monsters and most chests around Wytheria.
Regular bones can be purchased from Shop Keeper, there is also a chance of looting 40 Dragon bones from Crystal chest, 106 from Seren chest, 80 from Vote chest, 50 from Tier 1 Slayer chest, 120 from Mystery box.
One of the best monsters to kill for Dragon bones is Queen Latsyrc who commonly drops 50-150 a kill (RNG dependant).

There is a huge difference in which bones you use and where you use them.
With this guide, I give an insight into the easiest way to train prayer.

Training
The result is the same no matter where you stand, you press 'use' on the bone you are going to sacrifice and then on the altar.

Regular Altar's
The first method can be done at the nearest altar. They are found all around Wytheria. The typical places where there are altars are shown below

Home

Donor zone

Legendary zone

Chaos Altar's
The good thing about this method is that it doubles your XP and has a 50% chance of giving an extra bone.

Onyx zone

Wilderness Chaos Altar

The riskier method is at the chaos altar in the wilderness To get there Teleport -> Player killing -> Level 44 obelisk (chaos fanatic) then run southwest This method requires you to have a handful of money (50gp per bone) with you and the bones you want to sacrifice noted. You run back and forth between the altar and the elder chaos druid which unnotes your bones. But beware there may be a pker

In relation to xp, you can see below what each bone gives by sacrificing on the altar
